A complete, searchable record of peer-reviewed research by the Herp.mx team — dedicated to the discovery, rediscovery, and conservation of Mexico's herpetofauna.
Founded in Colima and now operating across Mexico, Herp.mx is dedicated to the study and conservation of Mexico's herpetofauna, with an emphasis on neglected and at-risk species. This publications portal serves as a permanent, searchable record of our scientific output — accessible to the public, indexed by search engines, and designed for review by institutions and grant committees.
All entries are published in internationally recognized journals subject to rigorous peer review. We follow citation standards used by the Society for the Study of Amphibians and Reptiles.
This bibliography is publicly accessible to promote transparency in biodiversity science and to facilitate collaboration with institutions and conservation organizations worldwide.
Our work combines natural history, systematic descriptions of new taxa, and ecological studies throughout Mexico's diverse habitats — from the Sonoran Desert to the cloud forests of Chiapas.
Much of our research targets species with limited prior documentation, contributing to IUCN Red List assessments and national programs protecting Mexico's most imperiled herpetofauna.
